This is a replacement for traditional canister style ignition condensers on harley points ignition and on magneto ignitions. (i have also tested it on various other points ignitions with great success yamaha, kawasaki, 6v hd, etc.)
replace this just as you would a regular points condenser for more stable longer lasting results. These are a new design and still have limited testing (about 400) so far and there have been 2 complaints (with no confirmation of proper installation). Since this is a semi experimental condenser Just be aware there is no warranty or guarantee, you are buying at your own risk!
the new version of this condenser has small cut outs to account for those bumps. if you don't line it up you can crack the fiberglass board on the condenser when cranking the screw down. the condenser grounds through the mounting screw so make sure you have a nice connection and a tight screw. and please make sure that the wire connection is hooked to the points nice and solid to ensure good operation.
Canister style condenser and points plate not included it is just for size reference. please make sure to be conscious of the locator bumps on some points plates.
